LETTER TO CHAIRMAN, LIC FOR PAYMENT OF PENSION FOR SEPTEMBER, 2017 BEFORE DURGA PUJA

Dear Sir,

Re : Payment of Pension for September, 2017

Pension for the month of September, 2017 is due for payment on 1st October, 2017. Consequent 

upon ensuing Durga puja, Dussehra festivals and Gandhi Jayanti our offices in many states will remain closed from 30th September, 2017 to 2nd October, 2017. In Eastern India offices will remain closed from 27th September, 2017 to 2nd October, 2017.That will delay the payment of pension beyond 3rd October, 2017.

We therefore request you to kindly advise our offices to make pension payment on the last 

working day for the month of September, 2017.

We understand that General Insurance companies New India Assurance Co. Ltd., United India 

Insurance Co. Ltd. And National Insurance Co. Ltd. has already made arrangements with P&GS 

departments of LIC to pay pension to their pensioners on the last working day of September, 2017.

We hope you will consider our request sympathetically and give relief to LIC pensioners during 

this festival season.
