1) My dear Sir, It was, indeed, an intellectual feast to go through your CCC: MARCH 2014 with abiding interest !
What an amazing range of topics have merited your focus in this edition ! Let me hasten to bow my head down to you for the enormous effort, you have put in to collect variegated data, collate it, interpret it and customise it to the requirement of the Retiree Community ! It was an eye-opener that this edition marked the 120th Episode in the Series ! Marvellous achievement ! Hats off to you !
I know that this exercise, which is being performed on the dot every month has drawn upon your physical energies with the passing of every year, to the point of exhaustion ! But the satisfaction of being of service to your brethren and the beneficial impact it had on them have added to the invaluable joy in life !
I am saddened to note that you wish to bid " GOOD-BYE " to this FOSTER CHILD with this edition ! I do wish that you continue this even in a manageable miniscule way, without leaving a total vacuum in the minds of its regular recipients, whose mental agility it is trying to sharpen ! Please do consider my appeal favourably, if it does not cause undue personal inconvenience !
Mrs. Seetha Kishore, who has been with you through this effort, deserves our gratitude !

2) Rev. Shri Kishore Ji ----Your two mails -"UNITY MOVES---Musings & Reflections" and Petition to the Hon'bleCJ have come at a most appropriate time and reveal how close to your heart is the cause of pensioners. To write such mails which are exhaustive, elaborate, dealing with the crux of the issues involved,is a yeoman's job which you have done impressively. In fact, it would not be an exaggeration if I say that you are an encyclopedia of pensioners' issues for which you deserve our gratitude. ---------------------------------------------I enjoy reading good mails so that I take every thing in a positive way. I write below an urdu couplet:
Fir karz dosti ka adaa kaun karega'
jab hum he nahin honge to dosti kaun karega
Ya KHUDA merey doston ko salamat rakhna,
verna merey jeeney ki dua kaun kareyga.
"Who will repay the debt(value) of friendship;
when I am not there...who will extend the hand of friendship.
Oh Lord!.... take care and bless my friends;
otherwise who will pray for my long life"

How I wish, you and CHM were there along with KMLA to assist our Hon. Advocates to present our case.
Going through the several points, I felt so elated and so confident that JUSTICE will be done to us.

1) 4) Employees joining hands with pensioners: Truth or Fiction?
Ur article reflects the outpourings of a veteran crusader in the cause and welfare of LIC Pensioners. The contents both in quantity and quality , logical presentation, the focus on thrust issues and the expectations from the SC verdict Final phase from 11/10/2018 are commendable. Ur yearnings that the LIC in-service employees thru their associations should join hands with LIC Pensioners is very legitimate since our AIRIEF right from commencement had extended its umbrella to all Class I,II,III,IV employees.
I know that there are several veteran leaders in the employees Associations who know all aspects of LIC Governance vis a vis GOI. They have the numbers on their side which is their great strength. They are also conscious of the fact that in the Banking industry RBI , the financial and other Sectors, the employees Associations fully side with and support their pensioners causes forcefully, while it is only in the Insurance Industry that the employees Associations have not extended their support to LIC Pensioners.
I am hopeful that their leaders in double quick time will realize the Truth that the employees of today are the pensioners of tomorrow and change their strategy and decide to extend their support to the LIC Pensioner brethren’s’ causes of DR rectification and pension upgradation forcefully and defeat the LIC Mgmt/ GOI’s dubious tactics of divide ,delay and deprive the LIC Pensioners of their legitimate dues. Since the time is short do we already have a communication link with them to seek their support for our causes? Or ,can we initiate one link now? Then, far from being a fiction, employee Associations joining hands with LIC Pensioners will become the Truth thereby opening a new and glorious chapter in the Insurance Industry.
I hope and pray that the Hon’ble SC will during their final hearing from 11/10/2018 confer on the pensioners the twin benefits that they are eagerly awaiting for over two decades.--------------------------------R.V.RAMESH
5) Respected Sir, Its a pleasure to read the wonderful communication you sent to the Chairman of LIC on the 63rd Anniversary Celebration and appeal from the pensioners.
The communication, with facts, figures and gesture sets the tone for future dialogue with the Management. I hope that this article will be a document to be used by the Negotiating Committee, AIRIEF after reconstituting in its ensuing AGM at Bhopal.
