Where is the hurry ?
Category : Charter of Demands of AIRIEF.
Dear Friends,
Yes. AIRIEF takes the credit of having submitted our Charter of Demands well ahead of other Organisations and opened negotiations with our Chairman amidst the concerned HODs in Central Office twice and the minutes of the proceedings were circulated among our members through the respective Divisional Units long back. Though we could not make any headway in our discussions in respect of issues involved monetary benefits, we could bring round the management to commit their acceptance to consider some of our issues. It is on record that our Vice-President of AIRIEF, Sri. R.B.Kishoreji picked up the thread and used to emphasize their action on our pending problems through his periodical e-mail messages and direct phone calls.
Our Federation thought of resuming negotiations on our pending issues and hence our General Secretary posted a letter recently to Central Office seeking dates for the purpose. In the mean time, developments of our case at courts warranted frequent meetings of our Executive and Legal Committee at Bhopal and New Delhi. Due to hectic activities concerning legal matters, our Federation had to defer temporarily our attempts to follow up our letter addressed to Central Office regarding negotiations on our Charter. Every one will agree that our Federation should focus its attention squarely on our ongoing court matters and any deviation at this hour importance would affect our prospects. Federation will definitely take up this part of our activities at the appropriate time with all seriousness.
We could wait till then. Members should inculcate the habit of referring our official AIRIEF website periodically to get themselves updated with day war developments on variety of subjects. Let us cooperate.
With respects,
MPS.
