READY RECKONER FOR SUBSIDISED MP PREMIUM 2021-2022

READY RECKONER FOR SUBSIDISED MP_-1.xlsx

पवित्र करवा चौथ की हार्दिक शुभकामनाएं

MP CALCULATOR

Respected Shri Sahniji, Namaskar,  It is my pleasure to receive your response,  advice, suggestions and instructions, about Calculator and the Reckoner.   I agree there are handful pensioners only to use the calculator, however  few of them if happened to see and use it , I shall be glad. I am more surprised  when during pesioners' meet I face many of the educated  and designated pensioners who are keeping a costly phone with them, and say that one is unaware of the total pension he orshe is receiving, and can not make out the difference in the pension, if received more or less than the previous month.

Anyway it seems the tendency of old age, with some exceptions of persons like you.

Now giving continued trouble, and though I am not competent enough as you and your team, I have prepared  Ready Reckoner to be used for 2022-23, duly replacing the Tabular Premium when the new premium rates are declared in 2022-23. If time permits please check for any mistake and advise.

I am thankful to you for uploading the MP Calculator on the blog, I feel it like a prize and pride.

With hearty regards.

1. In the 1400s a law was set forth in England that a man was allowed to beat his wife with a stick no thicker than his thumb.
Hence we have 'the rule of thumb.'

2. Many years ago in Scotland , a new game was invented. It was ruled 'Gentlemen Only...
Ladies Forbidden'... and thus the word GOLF entered into the English language.

3. Each king in a deck of playing cards represents a great king from history:
Spades - King David,
Hearts - Charlemagne,
Clubs -Alexander the Great,
Diamonds - Julius Caesar

4. In Shakespeare's time, mattresses were secured on bed frames by ropes.   When you pulled on the ropes the mattress tightened, making the bed firmer to sleep on. Hence the phrase......... 'goodnight, sleep tight.'

5. It was the accepted practice in Babylon 4,000 years ago that for a month after the wedding, the bride's father would supply his son-in-law with all the mead he could drink.
Mead is a honey beer and because their calendar was lunar based, this period was called the honey month, which we know today as the honeymoon.

6. In English pubs, ale is ordered by pints and quarts...
So in old England , when customers got unruly, the bartender would yell at them 'Mind your pints and quarts, and settle down.'
It's where we get the phrase 'mind your P's and Q's'

7. Many years ago in England, pub frequenters had a whistle baked into the rim or handle of their ceramic cups. When they needed a refill, they used the whistle to get some service.
'Wet your whistle' is the phrase inspired by this practice.

8. In 1696, William III of England introduced a property tax that required those living in houses with more than six windows to pay a levy. In order to avoid the tax, house owners would brick up all windows except six. (The Window Tax lasted until 1851, and older houses with bricked-up windows are still a common sight in the U.K.) As the bricked-up windows prevented some rooms from receiving any sunlight, the tax was referred to as "daylight robbery"!

Now, there you have the origin of these phrases.
Interesting isn't it!! 😁❤

OPINION POLL BY BUSINESS LINE

OPINION POLL BY BUSINESS LINE

It is a surprise to see that   an opinion poll by business line was run on bank pension updation issue.

It triggers so much questions in us.

Had it conducted similar poll on RBI pension updation issue?

Had it conducted similar poll on the refusal to update pension after agreement in NABARD CASE?

Had it conducted similar poll on any other institutional employees long pending demands?

What business line wants?

On seeing the positive results we can take it positively or we can make it favourable as the results as on date show 95% votes ie 95674 voters support the opinion of  updation.

Well.
All those voted in favour have a strong determination to uphold justice in bank pension updation issue.
They  have stressed the need to update bank pension as done to other govt employees and as per supreme court judgement in similar cases.
Alright. But having an opinion poll on an industrial  issue and taking decisions according it cant be justifiable. Incase the result turns otherwise.. can we accept denial of our demand? Absolutely not.

We upheld the earlier supreme courts verdict that
Wage revision and pension revision are inseparable and no opinion polls can be a verdict on it.

[18/10, 5:17 pm] Rbk:
So much in a hurry many unfortunate
In fact from.last 15days whenever I steal time Important Writeups & flash news then, the long list of Younger generation of pensioners are Simply unaware of Historic developments & Crucial Foundation like Hon late Justice VRKIyer thundering letter supporting & justifying from legal angles to then FM Pranab Mukerjee ,still.earlier my Comprehensive Article Panorama & Perspectives of Pension Upgradation ,were circulated to fill up & complete their gaps in thinking, which is dangerous & which may land us in.similar plight like RBI Pensioners losing Rs 25 to 65 lakhs & entire FPensioners ignored.Atleast they had earlier Partial.DR restoration & so too PU upto 2007 done & arrears paid.
How much of efforts in the midst of other RIEA works we had done eg last week our Mr VSitaraman Treasurer sent Rs1.38 lakhs viz Rs1.20 lakhs LFD & AF Rs 18 000 for 360 members crossing 4 RIEAs & emerging 7th in All India
Those who got sumptuous arrears are so hesitant, except very few to have paid Rs 5000 ! Gratuity Rs 20 lakhs  how much we got, pittance .Yet mind is miserly.they are in heavens with handsome Pension & you & I know 8 steps below are getting higher pension than.their Seniors.
Recent pensioners are aware that Transition from Employees to Pensioners is otherwise a fall as many or all perks gone with the wind
How much, you ,I & Mr Mahadevan unified ALL.PENSIONERS REQUIREMENTS then.* there with Charts & Tables so relevant. You now even gave boon of Ready Reckoner for Pensioners too
I feel sorry many pensioners are outside the ambit of all Pensioners Fedns & so WITHOUT protection.& guidance. They have only themselves to blame .
I am losing energy with multiple ailments ,Tripod companion even.at home & still.doggedly working for all pensioners till midnight or 1am .
Many have still.NOT SUBMITTED Life Certificate with only 12/13 days left Look.how responses are weak even.for DEADLINES

PLEASE INSERT as usual in ur eminent Blog.
I reminded about 550/600
 yesterday.
EVEN links show 2014,yet incisiveness & mastery of news is absent perhaps.

Significance of Sharad Purnima शरद पूर्णिमा

My dear loved ones,

I request your precious time to read this.

Today, 19th Oct 2021 is *Meelad-un-Nabi*, the blessed birthday of Prophet Mohammad. Today is also *Sharad Purnima*. As a Christian, I could hardly be expected to know enough about the special significance of these great occasions.

But I read today's TOI which carries an article on Raas Lila by Swamy Swaroopananda, global head of Chinmaya Mission and was shocked at my absolute ignorance of Hindu philosophy.

Being a rational and tolerant believer, it has been my humble opinion that all religion – be it Hinduism, Islam, Christianity or other – has been interpreted and expounded down the ages according to the personal understanding of various religious leaders at every level. This is proved by the existence of innumerable denominations, each claiming to be the one and only truth. Such understanding could be right or wrong, good or bad, innocent or deliberate, moderate or radical according to the intelligence or motives of the individual offering interpretation of scripture.

In common understanding, especially among non-Hindus, Lord Krishna is seen as a promiscuous god, enticing gopis (cowherds) with mesmerizing music and cavorting with them in wild abandon. Media has always reinforced this view and Hindus, being the placid liberals they are, have never bothered too much to dispute this vociferously.

In fact, my first reaction to the heading of this article "Raas Lila……", was the fleeting memory of the 1975 Malayalam superhit film Raasaleela, and the lilting song of P Jayachandran, "Nisha surabhikal" composed by the legendary Salil Chaudhary in the background of a sensuous dance by Kamalahasan with a scantily clad Jayasudha.

But in the original mythology, according to Swamy Swaroopananda, Raas Lila was a meditational dance performed by Lord Krishna with the gopis on Sharad Purnima night with the purpose of creating self awareness in them so they drop their worldly desires, merge with the supreme being and attain eternal holy and divine bliss.

Now compare this with the physical, sexual and worldly connotation that various individuals with differing motives have deeply entrenched in our minds regarding Radha and Krishna. Only the very enlightened people know and appreciate the true import of the Radha-Krishna and the gopi mythology. Many others view Krishna only as a promiscuous god.

Swami Swaroopananda has given a lucid explanation. *Gopis are THOUGHTS!* Raas Lila is in fact an artistic and symbolic form of *meditation*, casting away the thoughts of all worldly desires and attaining eternal bliss in complete union with God.

I am deeply saddened at the ignorance and misunderstanding that I, together with countless others have suffered due to consistent misinterpretation and misrepresentation. If inclined, please do read the article with an open mind.

Really very sad news

Really sad news ,a life partner no more is a vacuum.Even if lucky to be with son or daughter ok.Sometimes dilemma of sons/ daughters abroad inviting to be with them permanently some agree, many disagree .It may not be easy to discharge all obligations on Financial estate & other matters with many agencies here have to be dealt with properly. All is not Digital in India...
Myself & TRM were so close on many matters. He was thorough in calculations, charts & Tables For all my 10 year ie 120 months CCC,CLIPPINGS,COLLECTIONS,COMPILATIONS on
the dot by me as self imposed rigour for the benefit of All pensioners including CPINDEX & HLY DR ,mediclaim reqts options etc ,he was an ASSET.Timely by last week he will send SUMMARY OF LEGAL CASES,OURS & PENSIONERS related.
Why ALL calculations of Court orders on Mr Asthana cases ,petitioners calculations for amounts to be deposited by LIC he is instrumental. So too for Chandigarh cases
Remember , of his own volition he came well.prepared even when Tripod was being used by him ,with Madurai delegates & our Chennai delegates, it used to be Round Table Conference of studying Airief Accts & other matters of relevance.
As All India EC Member he discharged his functions professionally
Then & even now,his LF Donation was noble & generous .
He also was the harbinger of RIEAs 1st website & introduced novel features.
His daughter & wife used to accompany him for Chennai Central Station. We used to chit chat with his wife,an amiable lady
That his wife & a pillar of

support is no more leaves a
big void in his family.
In fact, his earlier residence Valsarawakkam was flood damaged in a colossal way.Life is tedious & tortuous.

RIEA Chennai & AIRIEF offers condolences on the death of Sri TR Madhava Rao's wife
We pray the Almighty to shower strength & fortitude to TRM & his family to bear this irreparable loss.
May her soul rest in.peace
