Bonanza for some Central Government Pensioners

I attach a news report published in the Hindu on 27/10/2016. There seems to be some parallel with the case of post August 2012 retirees who had a grievance that their net pension got reduced on account of additional commutation . Such employees/officers may represent to LIC if they so choose for not availing of commutation if they have not availed them already, But it is not whether LIC may apply Central Government practices at this juncture when our pension case is pending before the Delhi HC.
