I went through a letter written by Shri Murti reg: cash less
facility. The letter does not inidacate any ref to those operations which
involve high expenses like joint replacement say knee hip etc.
Such operations are
costly & involve lacs of rupees & the amount can hardly be available with pensioners
to be paid in advance to hospitals though such operations are planned ones unlike
heart/brain.
kindly take up this matter through your blog with the leadership.
I recall
to have written to you earlier also with copy to Shri kishore ji..It will be
of great help to pensioners

Shri Murty has requested the Chairman, LIC for introduction of cashless facility to the employees & the pensioners in respect of all the treatment for which admission in the Hospital is required.
Till such a facility is introduced, the Pensioners Associations may take up the matter with LIC Management
for inclusion of knee Joint & Hip replacement in the category of Major Operations/surgeries.
Hope the Leaders do take the desired action.
