If the Federation of Retired Class I Officers' Associations harps on only DR anomaly & 100% DR neutralisation even though the Delhi HC has gone with the Jaipur judgment while allowing their petition, it is tantamount to their saying, "we are interested in 100% DR neutralisation with removal of DR anomaly and we don't care whether pension upgradation is allowed or not".They can dispel this impression only if they take at the Supreme Court aa active stand, "we no doubt originally filed our petition for only DR anomaly removal and 100% DR neutralisation, but now that our petition was allowed by Delhi HC taking the cue from the Jaipur judgment, we pray for upgradation of pension as well."
By taking such a position , the Class I Retirees' Federation will be doing a yeoman service to the LIC Pensioners' fraternity.
