Expressing
solidarity with the retired soldiers on the issue of one rank, one
pension, Retired Bank Employees Association’s president HC Aggarwal
today said the Union Government had adopted a negative attitude in case
of revision of pension of retired bank employees also.He said the pension of retired bank employees had not been revised for the past 29 years and the Indian Banks’ Association (IBA) and the Union Finance Ministry was creating hurdles in the revision.
He said annual liability due to revision of the pension would be around Rs 1,300 crore.
He demanded that the pension of retired bank employees should be revised at the earliest.
