Management has extended the time up to 10th August,'15 consequent to our request to make available calculations of arrears to retirees, to enable 'informed' decision making of availing incremental commutation.
Please see the attached circular dated 17th July, '15 issued by the Bank.
It is once again advised, that only if you are NOT OPTING for commutation, the letter needs to be intimated to the Bank.
Information received by us indicates that only less than 12 retirees have opted for NOT COMMUTING so far, and we have proposed that steps be taken by the Bank to expedite payment of arrears, rather than delay it, because of this, & conform to the 90 day deadline!
