NOW IN SUPREME COURT ON 20.01.2016

Dear Sh Subir Kumar Mazumder, Nice to read ur mail to Sh KML Asthanaji. As you are aware Sh Asthana has been, till 2010,  fighting legal battle almost alone, of course  AIRIEF support was also there, and after the Historic Jaipur Judgement dated 12.1.2010 many masters had come out of their dins to claim success.  As they say  " SUCCESS HAS MANY MASTERS". It is pertinent to mention that Judgements of Punjab and Hry High Court Chandigarh and Delhi HC both are also based upon Justice Bhandari's Jaipur judgement dated 12.1.2010, and now in Supreme Court on 20TH JAN.2016 we fully expect that SC will allow implementation of the same in letter and spirit, and also 12% interest for late payment as ordered by Pb.& Hry HC and applicable in REM (for all) as per Delhi HC orders. There should be no doubt about  in Sh KML Asthana's capability, capacity and determination & devotion in  successfully fighting the legal battle for the last 17 years, and pensioners through out the country have been exhibiting full faith in him by their moral and financial support. Recently in October,2015 at a largely attended function arranged byTricity (Chandigarh, Mohali & Panchkula) pensioners had honoured him for his services ( which he is consistently rendering  even at the cost of his health, family and resources) for the common cause of all the employess of LIC. It is indeed sad that a few newly born legal manager/s have been resorting to different line of action which is detrimental to  the over all interest of all pensioners, and pursuing for only 20% Interim Relief even at this final stage when the Supreme Court Bench headed by Hon'ble Justice Deepak Misra has expressed their intentions to take up 100% implementation. Lets pray for good sense to prevail and the IR issue not pursued on 20th Jan. We are sanguine our Sr.Advocate/s will clinch the issue with 100% success on both the issues of Up gradation/Revision of Pension and removal of DA/DR anomaly.
With best wishes for good health & regards  to all.
H K AGGARWAL
MOHALI.
