Dear Sri Satyanarayana,

My calculation is based as per para 3A of Appendix IV of LIC (Employees) Pension Rules, 1995 as ordered by SC in their Judgment dated 31.03.2016.

The aforesaid Para was inserted vide Notification dated 22.06.2000 at the time of wage revision wef 01.08.1997 and was made applicable to those employees who retired on and after 01.08.1997 for upgrading their pension as per new wage revision.

It provided for one time upgradation of pension as per wage revision of 01.08.1997.

Perhaps you have not seen the letter written by Shri Ashok Joshi, GS, NOIP(BMS) to the Chairman, LIC to pay the 40% IR as was done in case of those who retired on and after 01.08.1997 and also the article of Shri C H Mahadevan which was posted in LIC Chronicle Blog on 15.04.2016.

LIC is implementing the SC Order arbitrarily and partially only in respect to DR of 0.23% without applying the other part of up gradation as they did to SC Order of 07.05.2015.

In case you could not follow or understand the basis, it is not my fault.

Our legal fight is both for DR disparity and for up gradation of pension with each wage revision.

prior to wage revision for 92-97 . After wage revision was implemented in 1996 my revised

basic pay was 8520 with computer increment . My basic after wage revision was 4196 . It

continues to be 4196

Better proper thorough check up is done before publishing such charts .
