In that event,the purpose of the SC having directed LIC to pay 40% interim relief as per para 3A will be defeated if all the petitioners' counsel do not tell the SC that LIC has not paid the correct amount of IR as per para 3A and zero IR has been paid for 100% of family pensioners.This has to be done despite divergent interpretations in the rejoinders to the LIC's compliance affidavit submitted to the Delhi HC.If we do not raise our voice against this injustice ,we will be doing grave dis-service to all pre-August 1997 retirees and more than 50% family pensioners in this group. Mr M Sreenivasa Murty has already instructed our counsel of Hyderabad and Chandigarh to raise this issue before the SC Bench. Greetings. C H Mahadevan
