It gives us immense pleasure to witness to-day's memorable retirees meet arranged with utmost sincerity to honour the erst while employees in a most selected and praise worthy way. To-day's arrangement was so planned that each item of the meet concentrated more on the welfare of the retirees.
Your concern over the contented settlement in rest of the life of the retirees was amply reflected right from the welcome address of our worthy Marketing Manager. Every word he used in his address must have been chosen after deep thought. We could see his face glittering with pride to address the gathering with a sense of involvement.
Dr. N.Raja, M.D ( Geriatrician ) deserves all our praise for his wonderful and priceless counsel to the elders which is still ringing in our ears. He has chosen the vital aspects affecting the normal life of retirees. He took pains to select the subjects and explain them in a more eloquent, understandable and simple language which must have reached every participants' heart. We owe much to his precious and valuable visit
Your coming to the podium has adorned the over all atmosphere of the air to a still further high. Words, praising the services of the retirees rendered in the past years which have been the prime cause for the present giant stature of our Esteemed Institution, are still reverberating in our hearts. Fact remains that you never minced words to praise the retirees in every aspect of their contribution during their service period. We are fully aware that you poured out your sentiments about the retirees from the bottom most of your heart. Your entire address has made us squarely feel that we are not alienated from our Affectionate Institution. You gave us golden tips as to how we should conduct ourselves for a peaceful life. We are blessed to have a SDM in our Madurai Dn who evinces keen interest in annihilating any sort of problem that may penetrate during your sojourn here. No doubt, LIC is catering to the needs of the eligible people and the Nation since inception. It is growing every day from its modest beginning. We only pray that it should outreach all the boundaries to the envy of the rest of the Public Sector Undertakings. Certainly Madurai Division will print its mark of achievement in all wings under your renowned leadership.
Sri. Sivanath, Coordinator of Medi-claim, was kind enough to allay the doubts of the audience about cashless treatment and other aspects of the scheme. We are benefited a lot out of his elaborate details.
An opportunity was created where-under we feel that we are taken to the cradles of OS department for our future nourishment.
Vice-Chairman of our RIEA, Madurai Unit, Sri. V. Chockalingam, has rightly pointed out that the entire community of retirees are functioning as self-appointed Ambassadors of LIC in the field as a token of our belonging to the Institution.
We thank our Madam Manager, ( OS ) and the team for the sumptuous lunch provided and the memento distributed.
We will ever cherish the goodwill and bond of oneness.
