entirety ,fulfilling plate of menu,soul-satisfying submissions,opportunity
given to high power team of LIC too ,massive mountain of a data on all matters
of Pension ,Pensioners,PR1995,LIC,all related Rules & Regulations,Statutory
Acts,IRDA Regulations, &
ii)Macro & micro threadbare in-depth analysis of Concept of PU
Pension Upgradation from legal,Constitutional angle,monetary & Financial
might of giant service & Financial institution LIC,many pensioners &
LICians themselves only now through periscope & microscope,truly
absorbing & assimilating the hegemony of LIC in national & society
growth & development breath-taking & above all,
iii) The striking Pension Anomaly Chart & clear cut Pension
Outlay Chart inclusive of PU ,prepared assiduously by Sri RKSahni & myself
boldly presented to the DHC Bench as authentic leading Submission to mitigate any
negative,pessimistic conclusion as portrayed & picturised by LIC in its 2
Affidavits as an overall assault & negation of PU itself,
iv) AIRIEF active & dynamic role in envisaging much earlier
before any other woke up to kindle interest of pensioners for the
continued, grievous, mounting loss of DR for pre 8/1997 pensioners &
colossal Himalayan loss in pension for all Groups of pensioners, consistently

v)remember
team work advocated & cultivated by worthy President Sri SSSaxena,with
Legal Committee as Focal Point,drawing a groundswell of suggestions & data &
analysis ultimately, after churning by the joint team , with fine -tuned
touches by Sr Counsel Sri Nidesh Gupta,whose choicest selection
must attract all pensioners the Vision& Foresight AIRIEF Leadership had
that Sr Counsels alone can stand on their own feet & influence the
Bench perceptibly & decisively &
vi)no wonder NG became a rallying point in the
goalpost to Final Victory in the legal battle of noise & tumult
,unique in the annals of trade unionism as also mastery of the holistic
& kaleidoscopic issues of Financial & Service institutions ,which will lend an impeccable ,decisive forerunner for
banks,RBI & others to follow & secure.
vii) We cannot forget again
how earlier too,AIRIEF chose a reputed Sr Counsel Sri Narasimha who played a
Pivotal role in cementing SC Bench thinking on proper,forward looking lines
getting cleared
many doubts &
injecting a sense of cohesiveness in legal thinking which enabled AIRIEF stand rock-like so that all nasty efforts of mighty LIC/UOI combine could not succeed
in setting aside judgement on 6676/1998 & 654/2007 on Full DR & PU
respectively,which is on the lips of everybody.
viii)One cannot
forget the resume or commentary of not only RKS but also LSRKrishnaRao,
Angurajan & the perseverance & call of duty displayed in an abundant
measure by ever smiling MPAgnihotri, tall Pramod Bhatnagar, Ranjan Dey Sarkar
in creating a Gem of a Counter,an uphill , arduous & demanding task but
with several rounds of talks with NG ,systematised & smoothened as an
impressive Counter ,ever-ready to answer any & every query that may
emanate from the Hon Bench with a plethora of materials neatly arranged.
B) i) Monday submissions in my humble opinion ,as
one earnestly,diligently,doggedly ,consistently,even aggressively &
furiously, may be silently too,taking the battle to opposite Corridors,whether
DO or ZO or CO on ever so many issues with a fair degree of success ,right from
1998 itself with undiminishing interest & attitude & empathy towards
pensioners,with ever so many ups & downs in domestic life & health too
, at this advanced age,setting aside childish worthless criticism emanating
from any quarter,& if maturity is what it is , never descend or stoop low,
& trying still to improve myself to the best of my ability enhancing
my contribution in the very few years ahead .
ii)a)Summation on Monday should never forget a
wholesome summary presentation to enable DHC Bench to pitch upon our
expected Retrospective date from when discrimination or anomalies arose,1/8/1997
or date of retirement whichever is later &
b)judgement to
encompass all pensioners &
c)verdict to
lay clearly & unambiguously same methodology as adopted for all cadres
& all groups of pensioners when we prepared Outlay chart
iii)Faith & Prayers
for a Bright Monday & an Illuminated Positive Twin Benefit deserved for all
pensioners when DHC Bench announces Verdict reserved &
C)i)Strategy to face afterwards, depending on the
full & final judgement looking to ramifications,the Last Leg our Historic
Journey with ups & downs, twists & turns,vicissitudes,but above all the
patience,perseverance & endurance shown by the multitude of ever endearing
Pensioners Fraternity
ii)When it comes in
the form in which we think, more so after a disastrous SC verdict negating Full
DR to pre-/10/2002 bank pensioners & also yet another great setback for
Govt pensioners,when Secretaries Committee appointed by Govt did not approve
choicest Pension revision Option No 1 creating a furor & All India
Confederation is still contesting & fighting for VII PC recommendations to
remain unaltered,this will be a watershed ,if we win finally fully against
heavy odds
D) i)With love,affection& kindness,clock ticking,waiting for Time to atlast shower blessings & the Almighty to bestow the bonanza to recompense the sustained loss by all pensioners in different degrees & a fervent but faithful invitation to all pensioners not to be mere onlookers but join the mainstream,contribute ur maximum mite in all forms, join the 20 year old & young AIRIEF to continue its Vision & Mission in
a more Collective
spirit of teamwork,cooperation,not confrontation,marching forward with dynamism
to protect & promote ,resolve pending pensioners issues, suffused with
oncoming hopefully of an unparalleled Pensioners Victory,bowing& entreating
to God to enable aged pensioners to etch this most Memorable Moment in letters
of Gold
ii)with all
humility ,humbleness & modesty,faith & prayers for a
victorious culmination,memorable Monday.When we score a victory ,we
would justify "true magnanimity consists not in never falling but in
rising every time we fall" Let pensioners rise as one man,atleast
hereafter.
