Adding qualifying service up to 5 years for pension to the bank officers recruited

as Specialists - Reference Bank Employees' Pension Regulation No.26 

Please see the recent judgment of the Supreme Court forwarded herewith. It is made available to us by Shri V.T.Makwana, Principal Office Bearer, All India Bank of Baroda Retired Officers' Association.

Officers recruited as Specialists and retired on superannuation prior to completion of 33 years' service are being paid pension less by 3% per year. They may approach their respective banks, citing this judgment, for enhancing their pension.
