New Delhi, September 1
Subsidised cooking gas (LPG) price was hiked up by
more than Rs 7 per cylinder, in line with the central government's
decision to raise prices every month in an attempt to eliminate
subsidies by the end of this fiscal.
A subsidised 14.2-kg LPG cylinder now costs Rs
487.18 in Delhi as against Rs 479.77 previously, according to Indian Oil
Corporation, the nation's largest fuel retailer.
