Further to my earlier mails sent today,I wish to further state that as the same inconsistency obtains for the current financial year 2017-18 also,the inconsistency needs to be resolved immediately as the implication of the inconsistency is that dependents under Table B aged between 71 & 75 who are covered for more than Rs 6 lks are overpaying their premiums despite the subsidy granted by LIC.
So the premium needs to be reviewed in consultation with the New India Assurance Co and premiums required to be corrected ,suitable reduction in premium is required to be effected and future instalment deductions from pension upto March 2018 need to be reduced appropriately.
May I request you to bestow your urgent attention in the matter?
