Dear sir
As per LIC Pension Rules, pension is being
paid on the 1st of the following calendar month. We are getting pension
payment every 30 or 31 days of the calendar. As such what difference
would it make if the pension payment is given on the last working day
itself instead of 1st of the following month. The 30/31 days distance
between 2 months pension will continue to be there even if our request
is acceded.
Therefore no perceivable benefit
will be come to pensioners after our request is accepted. I feel this
is not all an issue to be taken up with the management. There are
important other issues outside the purview of our Case in SC. The
Unions/Associations of Pensioners could do well by spending their time
and efforts for the following issues which will bring REAL BEBEFIT to
the Pensioners Fraternity instead of frittering away their valuable time
on frivolous issues like pension payment date.
1. 30% of last drawn salary to be taken as Family Pension, instead of the present 15%
2.
Last drawn salary or last 10 months salary whichever is beneficial to
the Pensioner/Family Pensioner is to be taken for fixing Basic Pension
