FROM Delhi or TO Delhi?

Presumably he was sitting in another aircraft with destination Delhi from where he was to take another flight for a long journey to a different destination.

     This was doing the usual rounds in the 'net for the last five years or so.

     Was the writer travelling FROM Delhi or TO Delhi? (please see the highlighted portions in the story)

Airline lunches
