LIC Group MEDICLAIM Scheme - Option for Increased Family Floater Cover.

Re. : Group MEDICLAIM Scheme - Option for Increased Family Floater Cover.

     Thank you for your communication dated  30/10/2017 which  I received today, Tues., Nov 07, 2017.

     "....for increased sum insured (on floater basis) for Rs.40 lakh and 50 lakh with increased room rent limit of Rs.8500/- per day in category A cities w.e.f. 01.04.2018...."

     I should like to be informed of the other 'benefits' beside the above that are available for upping the floater cover to Rs.40 lakh and Rs.50 lakh, please.

     Here it says that the last date for exercising option by employees /retired employees shall be 20.11.2017

     But elsewhere it says that the last date of exercising option by employees/retired employees shall be 30th November, 2017.

     This calls for a clarification of the last date which kindly furnish.

     Form A is such an innocuous form that one feels that requiring it to be witnessed is a sort of overkill.

     Kindly respond for me to take a decision on increasing the family floater cover.
