TPAS ARE TAKING A MINIMUM OF 30 DAYS TO ADMIT CLAIMS

    Dear  sri sahni ji                                                                                  11-3-18

My attention has been drawn to the post in ur blog  on time taken  for settlement of  of claims
and crediting to the bank accounts of individual claimants
The experience in Hyderabd , SC ZONE    reimbursements   approved not earlier than  30 days
Once it reaches  the DO,   may be in a day or two

Recently I fought a case where the  DO  and TPA Mediassist  jointly  took more than 8  months . The  claim papers  were simply filed  at TPA.  They woke up  after  I intervened with a strong indictment
New India DO no 120700 which issued the policy  never bothers  . It is TPA raj
There  is no data   how many claims were  rejected  and reasons for  decline
Now  we are fighting  TPA  for bringing GIPSA  ceilings/coverages . The circular of NIA on 6-1-2016
clarifying  that GIPSA  has nothing to do with the Group Medi claim policy  for  employees and pensioners from LIC
Thanking u
