GRATUITY HIKE FOR ALL WEF 01/01/2016

I am on Update nearly after three weeks. The Journey was bit tough from 99000 level to reach 100000. I really wonder why it has really slowed down after some time. Anyway we are happy that we have made a remarkable achievement of raising our voices against the discrimination by the government to retirees from the non government sectors. ONE LAKSH PEOPLE SIGNING IS NOT ORDINARY. THE CREDIT GOES TO EACH AND EVERYONE in mobilising the people to sign the petition.
Now, the question arises what is NEXT?? Government has not really moved an inch and not bothered to respond as of now. But our consistent other activities like sending mails to PM/FM/LM, to various Press people, several Tweets in Twitter, Postcard Campaign, lodging complaint to Government in PG Portal etc. are really making big impacts in the background but has not surfaced out. We repeatedly appealing various trade union leaders and retirees' association office bearers to take up the issues with the government. Though response is not forthcoming yet some leaders assured to take up the issue. On legal front a writ was filed/admitted at Delhi HC, which was later withdrawn now for some strategic reasons and the same to be pursued afresh after court vacation ends. However, some groups are in the process of filing writ in Allahabad and Jabalpur HCs. Let us wait for the development. Furthe the case filed in Kerala HC/Supreme Court for Gratuity Issue of 01/01/2016, comes for hearing in SC during first week of July 2018. A clear trend will emerge once this case is decided.
We believe in Democracy, We believe in Equality, We Belive in Justice. Due to our movement enough awareness has been created amongst fraternity about the injustice and discrimination and government is also seized of the issue very well. A Whatsapp group has been formed with person who personally interacted with me and those who took some interest in activities mentioned above and these activities are going on in full swing.
I once against reiterate that mere signing of PETITION is not the END; it is a BEGINNING. The need of the hour is active participation in large numbers as that alone will bring us SUCCESS.
I appeal each and everyone to participate in POSTCARD CAMPAIGN, LETTER TO GOVERNMENT, LETTER TO UNIONS/ASSOCIATION, LETTER TO PRESS PEOPLE, ACTIVE POSTINGS IN FB AND TWITTER BESIDES UPLOADING CREATIVE VIDEOS IN YOUTUBE TO ATTARCT ATTENTION. These are all the few very simple task that could be carried out by everyone without much efforts, sitting at home without losing any comforts. WHERE THERE IS A WILL THERE IS A WAY. Silent Procession in the CAPITAL, DISPLAY OF PLACARDS, TOKEN FAST, DHARNA etc. are the next level of movement to draw the attention of the Government. NOTHING WILL MOVE WITHOUT OUR EFFORTS. PERSEVERANCE TILL GOAL IS ACHIEVED IS OUR MANTRA.
Taking the movement to the higher level is NOT IN MY HAND alone. AT THE HANDS OF ALL THE PETITIONERS ONLY.
I have already sent a detailed mails once again to PM/FM/LM alongwith Details of Signatures of All petitioners and List with Comments (generated two files and sent along with our mail). I have sent Emails to various Unions leaders/retirees association, to unite under one umbrella and fight for this cause. Today I am sending a detailed email to various Editors of Newpapers to publish our Demands and make known to public and government.
THOSE WHO ARE INTERESTED IN ACTIVE INVOLVMENT IN ALL TYPES OF MOVEMENTS MAY PLEASE CALL ME AND GET INCLUDED IN WHATSAPP GROUP FOR ROUTINE UPDATE AND ACTIONS.
UNITY IS OUR STRENGTH.. THINGS WILL NOT COME TO OUR HAND ON ITS OWN. ACTIVE PARTICIPATION IS SOLICITED.
