Dear LIC Pensioner Friends,

  

             Upper Limits for Room Charges under Group Medi Claim  Policy recently renewed for 2018-19 are as below.

For   A Class Cities        Rs   7500     SI  upto   Rs  30  Lacs

                                          Rs    8500    SI   Rs  40/50 Lacs

For    B Class Cities          Rs  5000

For    Other  Cities             Rs  4000

              The  Ground  Reality is that existing rates of  room charges in  All   Good Private Hospitals in  B Class Cities or Other  Cities are almost  at par with A Class Cities only  and it is next to impossible  to get rooms   as per prescribed limits for LIC  Working Staff and Retired Employees  both in B Class or  Other Cities Category causing a major  financial loss to both  employees / Pensioners not only in room tariff but with proportional  cut  in all other   treatment expenses.

              It is high time that All Organisations for Working LIC Staff as well as Pensioners Associations take up this issue with Top  LIC Management at the earliest.
