I had in April 2018 had made an RTI application to CO pointing out that the latest copy of the LIC Pension Rules 1995 displayed in LIC web-site did not contain Rule 55B and requesting for an updated copy of the Rules.The CPIO replied to me stating that the amendment is available in the website www.egazette.nic.in but was silent on displaying the amended Pension Rules in LIC web-site.
I had included this item in my draft of appeal to CIC which is under preparation by me.Meanwhile,when I accidentally browsed the LIC website,I noticed that the updated Pension Rules have been displayed therein on 30/5/2018.
The updated Pension Rules as uploaded in the LIC website is attached.
