1)LIC GAINS NOTHING 2) Not an easy ride for deal closure
I attach two reports from today's ET.
Shilpy Sinha writes that this investment of LIC will constitute only 0.4% of the total assets of the Corporation.But LIC's total investments in Equity Market and Mutual Funds etc constitute more than 21% of the total assets.So the LIC's investment in the IDBI Bank deal will in fact be nearly 2% of the total investments in the equity market.
