Shri ML Bhasin (Delhi) is no more

                          Shri ML Bhasin (Delhi) is no more    I am deeply distressed to know of the demise of shri ML Basin last night (22/12) due to brain haemorrage.He was one of our sincere and devoted activists at Delhi and served as the joint Secretary of the Federation of LIC class 1 officers' Associations with distinction for a term. After the premature passing away of his only son about a few years back he had withdrawn his active involvement in our activities and I know that the health condition of both himself and his wife (a very pious lady) was deteriorating.   On a personal level I have indeed lost a good friend and a genuine well wisher. I gratefully  recall that during one of my visits last year he compelled me to stay with him in his flat instead of going to some hotel when I was stranded due to non availability of guest house accommodation. Both myself and Shri Arunachalam had then enjoyed the hospitality of Bhasins.I called on him again in July this year but found him to be weak.  My prayers to the Almighty to rest his noble soul in peace and grant the courage to his beloved wife to bear this loss.  - GN Sridharan
