In both the cases it is suicidal for retirees who cannot afford to pay the present medical insurance premium.

What a great achievement of UFBU !!!   What a vision of retiree organisations !!!

No retiree is responsible for the  Bank's present tight position riddled with losses and huge NPAs.

Even the Bank could not come to the rescue of poor retirees who served the institution for more than three decades.

Good morning. 

Gone through your email very carefully and venture and wish to state that:

The IBA Health insurance was started in the year with Rs7000 premium then increased to Rs. 30,000 last year year by year. This is mainly because of claim ratio beyond 200%. This is availed by our retirees only. Don't you agree.? If the claim ratio was not that much the premium would have been less. 

Ok. Now we analyse the issues in order of priority Mr. Prasad. 

1. Health of senior citizens is the responsibility of the Govt. For central & State govt. they have free schemes. Why not we?

2. IBA health insurance is for bank staff but not for working staff and retirees separately. If so why dived? If taken as a single lot the claim ratio would not have been so high. 

3. Govt. Introduced this measure as a welfare measure. As retirees are we not eligible funds from welfare. Earlier a section of retirees got Benicia from welfare funds. Who is responsible for this today. Is it not every body duty to raise to occasion instead of showing fingers .  

4. Retiree organisation gave calls to demonstrate for the cause. How many of us participated and shown strength. We sat at home watching TV and reading newspaper. Divided ourselves with one pretext or other. Is it not correct?

5. WHO IS RESPONSIBLE FOT THIS SITUATION. IT IS WE. WE HAVE NEVER SEEN WHAT WAS GIVEN TO US WHILE WORKING BY OUR LEADERS. TODAY WHEN IT PINCHES WE BLAME THEM. WHILE WORKING WE WORKED FOR PAT ON OUR SHOULDERS FROM MANAGEMENT AND TODAY BLAMING THE SAME MANAGEMENT. WHO IS AT WRONG. LOOK AT AS COMMUNITY NOT AS INDIVIDUAL. 

5. Give suggestions instead of finding fault as we are also reason for today's situation. Join the community in raising to occasion. You have caliber to lead,, lead.
