There sensational developments for Bank Retirees last week, the social media rattled with Bank Retirees postings. The UFBU appeared to be split almost, AIBEA IN UFBU MEMBERS MEETING ITSELF REJECTED TO TAKE UP BANK RETIREES PENSION UPDATION AS UNVIABLE, 100% DA CASE NOWHERE FOUND IN TALKS THOUGH NOTED IN LAST RECORD/JOINT NOTES.
FURTHER ALL ARE IN CONFUSING STAGE AND DILEMMA AS IN CHV WORDS IT WAS MENTIOED THAT PENSION FUND IS WITH NEGATIVE BALANCE.
AS ALL KNOW ABOVE DEVELOPMENTS, much not stressed here but some postings in social media reposted here.
MAHA MORCHA BY AIBOC ON 04TH FEBRUARY, 2019 AT NEW DELHI : .......... The huge crowd opposed the proposal of amalgamation of banks ; demanded decent wage revision for officers from Scale I to Scale VII, updation of pension and improvement of family pension for bank retirees etc.

C H Venkatachalam Rejected the Demand of Pension Hike in 11th BPS
Today (21st Feb) all the constituents of UFBU are meeting to discuss the issues confronting the UFBU with regards to the media reports on wage revision attributed to AIBEA from Kanpur meeting and also to discuss on AIBOC and NOBO joint letter to IBA not to hold talks with UFBU. ..............................................................................................................
The inside fighting appears to be very tense and shows negative on the utterances of AIBEA to participate in the talks and sign the settlement even if AIBOC does not participate in the talks as per media reports.
On the other hand AIBOA has taken a stand and has stated their issues to be taken up for discussion. But there is no evidence of the Retirees demands of even Pension Updation and Family Pension in the issues listed by AIBOAin today's discussion.
AIBOC has already made their stand clear after publically declaring that they will not sign the wage revision settlement until the Retirees demands of Pension Updation and Family Pension are resolved. Kudos to them.
On the other hand Shri CHV of AIBEA has conveyed us that the main demand of Pension updation is not possible at present due to no money or fund crisis in our Pension Trust Funds having negative balance.
He clearly stated that Pension Updation will be taken up only when funds in the Pension Trust Funds will suffice to bear the substantial amount.
It's really surprising to note that Shri CHV view and version about Pension Trust fund is far behind truth besides there is enough proof and evidence that money in Pension Trust Funds is more than sufficient to meet the increased cost of Pension Updation and Family Pension. We can't accept these lame excuses.

After this UFBU IBA meeting held with AIBOC & NOBO majority officers organisatins absent.
It was informed that .......AIBOC and NOBO did not attend the talks. Hence IBA offered to continue talks with workmen unions only............
UFBU yet to issue full minutes of the meeting. But it is circulated that in case of AIBOC NOBO absence to continue, IBA continue talks with others, settle matters to officers also ex-parte on lines of agreement with them for award staff.
SO RETIREE ISSUES ARE IN JEOPARDY WITH FREE HAND TO CHV & IT IS TO BE SEEN ARDENTLY HOW THE AIBOC NOBO COMBINE TURN THE TABLES IN THIS UGLY POSITION - FOR BETTER OR WORSE.
MEANWHILE RETIREE ORGANISATIONS FULLY IMMERSED IN THEIR GBs and silent on the matters and further to the dismay of common retirees, inviting the cheaters as chief guests.
