It is a very critical information.For earlier generation of family pensioners,the (Annual) Mediclaim premium exceeds monthly gross family pension.It will place a huge financial burden on family pensioners,if option is not given to family pensioners to reduce the sum insured to proportionate levels based on gross family pension compared to regular gross pension.
