Say no to unknown UPI requests

Please be cautious of fraudsters while carrying out UPI transactions. You will NEVER be asked for a PIN for money to be credited to your bank account.

Avoid fraud requests by doing these 3 things before you accept.

How do fraudsters get access to your account?

Fraudsters will send a ‘Collect’ request on the pretext of making a payment using the UPI app. This request on the app has 2 options i.e. ‘Pay’ or ‘Decline’. Customers think they will receive funds and hence click on the ‘Pay’ option in the UPI app. Once the UPI PIN is punched in, the money is successfully transferred to the fraudster’s account.
