*Dear Comrades,*
On behalf of Joint Forum of 3 major trade union of LICI, we strongly oppose the Government' decision conveyed through budget speech of the hon'ble Finnace Minister in the floor of the parliament about bringing IPOs for disinvestment of LIC. We need to fight unitedly by all means to resist this most dangerous move of for the government for the safety and security of the hard earned money invested in LIC by our more than 30 crore policyholders.
As an initial reaction we will demonstrate jointly before all offices of the corporation on 3rd February 2020 during recess hour followed by one hour protest strike on 4th February 2020 prior to lunch break.
