1) After the talk with MD Sri Vipin Anand , next day Full Promotion & Transfer List by CO
was received . It was a golden opportunity for me at to try to talk to Chief ER Sri RKDubey promoted as EDPer .
2) I was able to get his line, I congratulated him for his promotion as EDPer . I indicated that he must already be fully aware of Pensioners problems & so having released the wonderful salary scales & attendant allowances , he will devote his time for resolving Pensioners pending problems & issues pending for long , adversely affecting pensioners & their families Harmony.
3)I pointed out how some grievances which could have been resolved earlier , as earlier decisions were taken & even Sanctified LIC Board Resolutions of July 2019 & Oct 2019 are still pending without Govt Notification for 18 & 21 months .Longstanding issues duly addressed & a final thrust thro Board Resolution still hanging in suspended animation is a serious disappointment .I requested him to hasten final Govt Notification .
4) I referred to the crucial speech of Hon FM on 31/12/20 congratulating IBA & Bankers for wage accord& her Empathetic stress to address Pensioners issues & especially Family Pensioners & older Pensioners getting pittance of pension can be helped by even fixing them in current respective scales of their cadres
This is a departure from earlier rigid stance or procrastination & so Top Mgt must follow up& clear pending issues much faster as time is running out & 18500 Pensioners have died which is a depressing picture & no Management can afford to look at this sad spectacle without grappling with the issue firmly & resolve quickly
5)I brought to his notice the latest 2021-22 Group Mediclaim Policy where NOT a single extra benefit is added & all are aware that all Federations submitted wonderful improvements & suggestions & New India cannot accept few most important atleast . Only premium is reduced by marginal 1.64 percent .
I suggested that CO Per & CO OS must get regular feedback from AllZOs & DOs about shortfalls or grievances of TPAs & due statistics must be called for to be brisk & cater to the needs of employees & Pensioners
6)I appealed to him that now they can take internal decision with Chairmans powers to allow grant of Domiciliary Medical Allowance to Pensioners who more deservedly need support as a major chunk of expenditure incurred for Pensioner & spouse for illness eats away the pension , on SAME scale yearly as that being given for Employees with due revision when bestowed for Employees.
I also hinted that as Govt & LIC want Elders & Sr Citizens to be taken care of for welfare & progress , he must intervene & help aged Pensioners 80 & above, total numbers minuscule on same pattern as that done by Govt for long, viz agerelated rise in Pension at 80,85,90,95 & 100'a rise of 20,30,40,50,100 percent of pension
7) Lastly I asserted that as Top Mgt Retirements start soon from June 2021 onwards, & as all of them would have pursued the Notes & solutions many times, a click now is better than allowing them to languish Please.

25/4/2021 my Birthday , age 82 years, Star Punarvasu of Lord Rama, so like a shuttlecock transferred right & left , with Double establishments & expenditure ,as Madam had to be in Chennai to educate our daughter & son .Yet we have a smile & cannot run away from problems as they are an eyesore
