Our case in Supreme Court & NLP & NPOP

Sri CHM,
You have made out very valid points concerning how the two stated/adopted policies of the Govt can come in on our long-pending Case in the SC.  While I agree with you that these policies are not statutory in nature, there is an avowed principle in still trying to appeal for speedier processing of cases of Senior Citizens, who by their age and stage of living do not see much time left to accommodate the kind of delays that the cases go through. There should be some real consideration where either an individual Senior Citizen, or a group of Sr Citizens have gone to Court for basic aspects like financial compensations of salary or Pensions or similar things which have a considerable relevance to their living conditions.
There could be a convention in Courts to limit the maximum time period within which such matters should be resolved. The legalities may continue to be on par with any other case, but the time extensions could be limited, so that justice delayed does not become justice denied.
