CHAIRPERSON OR CHIEF EXECUTIVE

The circular dated 9/7/2021 communicates the changed designation of Chairman as Chairperson,but the Gazette Notification dated 7/7/2021, the word ' Chairman' has been substituted by 'Chief Executive'.

Should the letters be addressed to   'Chairperson' or 'Chief Executive' instead of to'Chairman?

Usually the word 'Chairperson' is used for gender neutrality.

This duality in nomenclature used by the Central Government & LIC needs to be clarified.
