Subject: Settlements of Charters in RBI
Dear friends,
This is to congratulate you all and also express our sincere happiness for historical settlements reached in the Bank
with a marathon struggle, in peculiar circumstances. When we look back, the settlements in the Bank have immense
value for incumbents as also to retirees of the Bank. The solid foundation laid down in successive settlements have
been further strengthen with the latest settlements.
We sincerely wish that the four recognised organisations in the Bank
would further pursue next parts of the respective charters by remaining unitedly forever. When forum in the Bank was
established way back in Feb 2002 in Kolkatta joint meeting, trade union functionaries then had visualised importance
of the unity to protect interest of the RBI community. We are experiencing it very much even after a pretty long period of
two decades.
We retirees have to sincerely acknowledge your role for protecting us in the given circumstances. We hope
that in the days to come you have post retiral issues in the uppermost of your minds.
We once again express our happiness for your achievements which are to be written in golden letters in the annals of history
of trade union movement in RBI.
