Clarification on inclusion of independent children in Family Floater Mediclaim Scheme wef 01.04.2022

[14/03, 4:49 pm] Joshi Ashoka: I had a telephonic talk with Sh. Sanjay Gupta, dealing with our Mediclaim Scheme. He has clarified that

1. Family Pensioners can't opt for their chidren to include in to the scheme.

2. Once the Children complete age of 45, they will be out of coverage.

[14/03, 4:49 pm] Joshi Ashoka: It is also clarified that if the pensioner include their children in to our Mediclaim Scheme now, then after his death during Family Pensioner's tennure Children will be continued with Medical coverage.

But, once the FP dies, children will come out of coverage even though they are below 45.
