I have sent a mail yesterday to ED(Personnel) as forwarded.
The Portal is still inaccessible.

Dear Sir,
It is a matter of happiness for LIC Pensioners, that the Corporation has put in place a 'Retired Employees' Portal'.
However , many of the retirees are not able to access the Portal as there is a problem in registering in the Portal. When I tried to register a number of times keying in my SR No,Date of Birth ,Mobile No & Capcha, the message in red reading ' Wrong Data' was displayed in bold font.So this problem needs to be rectified .
In addition, I furnish the following suggestions for ensuring its usefulness of the Portal for the pensioners at large:
1.The Portal can be named LIC Pensioners' Portal instead of Retired Emplyees Portal so that family pensioners can also access the Portal for deriving the benefits therefrom.Family Pensioners constitute nearly 33% of the total pensioners.
2.As I have not been able to access the Portal so far, I am not aware whether all the CO circulars issued by the Corporation from 28/6/1995 relating to pension & pensioners are uploaded in the portal to enable pensioners to refer in case of need to obtain any information.
3.An updated copy of LIC( Employees) Pension Rules 1995 with all latest amendments incorporated therein may also be uploaded.
4.All statistics of pensioners from the financial year 1995-1996 to the latest financial year should be available in the portal with break up of regular pensioners and family pensioners.
5. The financial yearwise statistics of pension optees in service may also be uploaded and updated.
6.The other statistics should include financial yearwise statistics of retirements (Class wise) and number of unfortunate deaths from among employees ,retirees and family pensioners.
7. Financial Statements of the LIC Employees' Pension Fund, viz, the Income & Expenditure Statement & Balance Sheet for each of the years from1995-1996 till the latest financial year should also be available in the portal.
8.The financial yearwise figures of actual pension pay-out from P & GS dept to LIC Pension ers may be uploaded.
8.A provision may also be made in the portal for providing feedback from pensioners.
If the above -listed information is made available , the pensioners will be benefited immensely from the portal.
Kindly consider my above suggestions & do the needful.

Executive Director (LIC)(Retd)
