Letter by AIBOA to Finance Minister for up-dation of pension

Dear All,  This is in response to issue raised by our Dear Friend Sh N D Mehrotra ji   First, let me congratulate Leadership of Union Bank Retirees for very well drafted letter based on facts & logics  to Honourable FM demanding their Pension Upgradation on RBI pattern  While analysing Pension Revision pattern  approved by Finance Ministry for RBI Pensioners, we observe following reasons behind their success story.First & foremost being total support of Each RBI Governor  with their Pensioners and second factor being  practical approach adopted by Leadership of RBI Pensioners by  accepting Govt  rider  that no arrears to be paid & as such Pension   Revision to be prospectively & not retrospectively   Had they not been wise & practical,  this success was simply not feasible   Coming to LIC Pensioners,  do we have support of our Top Management with us ?  Are LIC Pensioners  united ?  And through which farmula or strategy,  LIC Pensioners  likely to get more than RBI Pensioners   LIC Pensioners Community is full of highly experienced and intelligent people but still we are a badly divided lot  Kindly enlighten all of us  With my  personal regards for all Members in this email Group   B R  Mehta   Panchkula
