EEASTERN NEWS SEP 2023

Respected Readers,

We extend our greetings to all LICians, both retired and in service, on the auspicious occasion of this LIC foundation day. Many of us may have witnessed the historic Nationalisation and Birth of this mighty organization on the 1st September 1956.

In this long period of 67 years, the organization has been successful in establishing a relationship of mutual Trust and confidence with the customers, also amongst the citizens of the country. The LIC is thereby continuously growing through enhancing quality & efficient Customer services, adopting upgradation of technology, digitalization, asset building as well as playing a pivotal role in supporting and financing social welfare activities for the Nation Building. In this context the contribution of both in service also retired employees, field forces and other associated partners in the process of achieving sustained Growth of this Organisation is commendable and we believe is acknowledged as a Cherished memory.

The IRDA in a press note dated 25.11.2022, has released a Commitment to the Nation.  "Insuring India by 2047.--- New Landscape for Insurance Sector". The mission is to bring all citizens of the nation with appropriate coverage of Insurance. We believe our LIC shall take a leading role to fulfill the mission of our Country.

Finally, we sincerely wish that our Organisation shall take care of the welfare of all contributing resources and partners in the team of LIC, for achieving more and more new heights of Growth, in the years to come.

The SEPTEMBER-2023 issue of Eastern News is sent in attachment of this e-mail. We are looking forward to your valuable suggestions to enrich us for making improvements in our future issues.
