As per item 12 of post published in the blog, the superannuated retiree who is not a pension optee has to make a lump sum payment of the premium before 31/3/2024.Ironically retirees covered by LIC Pension Rules 1995 having duly exercised the option for pension ,but retired voluntarily have been declared disentitled to exercise the option to join the Mediclaim Scheme.In fact the superannuated employees who are not pension optees cease to be employees after their retirement. Is it not a major contradiction in the CO Circular dated 1/9/2023 reflecting gross injustice to voluntarily retired employees through blatant discrimination?
