Dear Friends, 

By now you must be knowing that hundreds of  Pensioners from Punjab Govt , Haryana Govt as well as their PSUs approached Punjab & Haryana High Court Chandigarh for stopping further recovery of commuted value installment from their Monthly Pension after ten years period post retirement against 15 years span fixed under pension rules

All such Petitioners have been granted immediate stay for further recovery 

Keeping in view these developments,  Few Union Bank of India Pensioners also got similar stay vide their order dated 31.05.2024 ( order copy being sent separately)

We also contacted Advocate engaged by Union Bank Pensioners & we have been informed that fees chargeable by concerned Advocate is Rs Ninety Thouand for a minimum group of thirty ( 30 ) Petitioners & @Rs three thousand per person extra over & above thirty

Pl share this information with your Members currently in age Group of 70 to 74

Each Petitioner will have to visit Chandigarh for putting his / her original signatures on Petition draft plus few enclosed affidavits alongwith their original KYCs
