*GIST OF CO CIRCULAR 342*

This is a common circular issued by Personnel Dept. of CO, after every Wage Revision to make the WR applicable to Pensioners retired after WR date.

1) The circular is applicable to all Pensioners Superannuated / VRS after 01-08-2022.

2) Pension to be refixed by taking 10 months average Pay.

3) If any period of 10 months falls before 8/2022, then for such months actual DA paid to be taken, to arrive at Average Pay.

4) The new DR rate is *0.06%* for 4 points rise / fall above 8456 index.

5) The refixed Pension is payable from the date of Retirement.

6) All Terminal Benefits like Gratuity, PLE & CV is to be calculated on Revised scale and difference is payable.

7) Minimum Basic Pension fixed is *Rs.5 420/-*.

8) As per DHC Judgement dtd. 27-04-2017, the Minimum Pension to be reviewed. 

9) For those retired on 31-08-2022, the revised Pension may be less than the Pension they were receiving in Old Scale before commtn. *In such cases, the loss will be protected against future rise in DR, till it gets zero.*

10) Needless to add papers of revised Pension Calculation should be approved by ZO.

11) Pensioner can opt not to receive additional CV by submitting letter in Annexure IV.
