*NOIP BGM UNIT MEETS SDM ON PENDING ISSUES*

The NOIP BGM Unit team consisting of Sri Hodlur Unit Secretary, Sri C T Joshi Spl Invitee to NOIP Secretariat and Sri M B Karjol met SDM on 8th July.
A memorandum was given to SDM (posted herebelow) on pending issues of Pensioners.
We discussed each issue in detail with SDM, Manager(OS) was also present in the meeting.
1) Regarding Sri Gunake's case, we pointed out that his earning record for 2006-07 and 2007-08 was given when we met last time. *The standard reply given by OS dept is the Pension file is missing.* We said it is not the mistake of Sri Gunake, and we want solution to the issue and arrears arising out of Graduation Allowance be paid to him since 1999.
*SDM instructed M(OS) to find a solution to the issue, since the case is pending for more than a year.*

2) Wrong settlement (Less) of Savings portion of GSLI by P&GS Unit of Raichur is also pending for more than year in respect of Sri S R Malipatil, a retd DO of Jamkhandi Branch. *SDM asked M(OS) to speak to Raichur DO.* We gave him our Calculation sheet also.

3) Non-payment of Ex-gratia to Sri P B Annigeri was raised. His DOB is 08-05-1954 and due to misinterpreting the CO circular 340, he has been denied Ex-gratia. We have also pointed out the logic to be applied (His representation is enclosed).
*SDM asked M(OS) to study the case and if necessary to  seek clarification from ZO.*

*SDM informed M(OS) to entrust the work to a designated Officer with instructions to collect all Data within a specified time frame. And to reply to the Union.*

4) We also took up the issue of non-compliance of Kerala HC Judgement and subsequent CO circular on that matter. We explained in detail the case of Class 1 Officer Pensioners retired between 1-8-1992 to 31-3-1993 & sought his intervention. Since the poor Pensioners / Family Pensioners have been denied their legitimate dues for last 32 years, the implementation of CO circular be expedited.
*SDM was sympathetic and we also gave names of the Officers who retired during the above mentioned period.*
M(OS) assured to look into the matter early.

The meeting lasted for about 45 minutes and was held in a cordial atmosphere.

NOIP assures all Pensioners that it will not leave the Pensioners issues till they reach their logical end.
