Indications:

• Highest proportion of pensioners are from Class III cadres (46.8%) followed by Class I (34.1), Class II(15.2%) and Class IV(3.9%)

• In Class III & Class IV percentage of family pensioners is higher than retiree pensioners.

• Class IV family pensioners are double the Class IV retirees perhaps due to the fact that there was no recruitment of Class IV   for a long time.

• Largest number of beneficiaries in the event of upgradation of pension will be Class III pensioners followed by ClassI pensioners.

• Taking into account the pension optees in service, the largest percentage of beneficiaries on upgradation of pension will be Class III (45.5%) followed by Class I (36.5%)
