Dear Sir ,
Re Payment of January 2025 month Pension on 1st February Saturday being a Non Working Day for LIC Staff
We wish you & your Team a Very Happy Happy 2025
Our Association membership base of 270 Members is spread over multiple Divisions in NZ like Srinagar , Amritsar, Jalandhar, Ludhiana, Chandigarh, Shimla, Karnal, Rohtak, NZO Delhi besides three Divisions at Delhi
Due to five days working week in LIC , our Pension Credit gets delayed whenever 1st& or 2nd happen to be Non Working days despite CO clear instructions to ensure Pension Credit on 1st of each month irrespective of 1st being a Holiday
OS Deptt performs their job quite sincerely by generating Pension Payment Voucher on last working day of each month
However, due to lack of coordination between F& A Team sitting at their homes ( being their non working day ) & Concerned Banks Staff Teams (1st Saturday in Banks is generally their working day except few exceptions in case of 1st Saturday falling on Holidays )
When questioned for delayed Pension Credit , they try to pass on the entire blame on RBI NEFT System which is totally wrong since a few DOs are in a position to credit Pension on 1st despite all constraints
As such, we request your goodself to please issue clear instructions to your OS Team to revisit this whole issue of delayed Pension Credit & take immediate steps to ensure Pension Credit on 1st Saturday without fail (despite being their non working day )
Alternatively , kindly arrange to send your recommendation to CO to please revise Pension Credit System with clear instructions to all Pension Disbursing Offices for crediting Monthly Pension on last working day like Nationalised Banks
With our Thanks & Regards
( B.R Mehta)
General Secretary
