of la large number of class 3 Retirees is given: While for an Asst recruit/ Transferred asst prior to 1.9.56 entry level job had become life long job retired as Asst/SH which is derisively called once as A+ 30 without DA on Rs.30, direct recruit AAOs got 4 to 6 promotions without the need of interviews/ pass in dept/ professional exams. Recently one got 7th which is much appreciated. It is called SKILL. Senior Assts put in more than 15/ 20 years refused to attend interviews when they found Asst were put in 5+years of service being chelas of officers were selected as HGAs and further some promotions whether they pass Associate/ fellowship exam or not.

Only after pension came into vogue, some of these seniors attended interviews just for the pittance increase in basic pension even without stagnation increment and retired soon. What a pitiable matter it is? Anti-worker union of 85% strong reason being their invention of social boycott of officers fulfilling their inner desire without TU rights since 1981 collaborated on their pet dream of such assts will sacrifice their lives to establish "Paradise on Earth". .Unfortunately their ideology vaporized in two major nations in 1978 and 1991.Another story of SC/ST assts recruited only in early 1970s retired as DM/SDM. had happened as LIC refused to implement Reservation of 15/7.5% to them for more than 15 years and a huge backlog was created for the posts of HGA to DM. Had LIC progressed or retarded due to fault Recruitment/promotion policy for creation/ destruction of congenial atmosphere among staff? Retired officers without TU rights from inception are divided in to four organizations at SC now. Why ? In PSBs all bank clerks are promoted wisely as officers whose number is double of the former for exploiting them unlike in LIC it is half of class three.to destroy congenial atmosphere for decades and decades. The story of "Orienatal" private insurer adopting state of art Addressograph/ Tabulating machines when continued with inferior Mainframes without Internet in LIC without their pension scheme to workers unlike SBI/Imperial Bank is a long story why it failed miserably for decades till economic reforms ushered in 1991.
