Re A Great Stalwart & Founder General Secretary of our Association Sh S N Chhabra ( Life Journey 29.08.1932 to 01.01.2026 Resident Sector 2 Panchkula His Daughter Mob no 9878659999) leaves for his heavenly abode today 01.01.2026
Our Association came into existence on 12.12.2010 through joint efforts of our Two Co Founders being Late Sh M L Gandhi & Late Sh C.M Bhargava
Sh S N Chhabra became Founder General Secretary of our Association at age 78 & continued to put his best possible contribution next ten years
He was not keeping good health for the last approx five years
Despite health issues , his morale was very high
He attended our last three AGMs with help of personal attendant
He had been admitted in Ojas Hospital Sector 26 Panchkula for the last approx two weeks
He left for his heavenly abode today 01.01.2026 around 11.30 am
Since he had already donated his body to PGI Chandigarh so no cremation
Our Federation General Secretary Sh S K Awasthi was with him at his residence on 13th September 2025 evening( one day prior to AGM) for approx two hours (pic being shared separately )

One must pay homage to a stalwart who was one presumed joined as ASST in 1957 and retired as SDM in 1990 being one of the fighters of automatic promotion to HGA in !960s at judiciary which was sympathetic one at that time unlike now. He was one among 60+ pre 1.8.97 living retirees stated earlier. Now the exact figure is not known. Others will vanish soon and one need not use the phrase of "Pre-1.8.97" umpteen times. The present retirees/In-Service cheated their seniors who died from 1.9.56 till this day by not acting like RBI In- Service for the last two decades perhaps from strict instructions from their mentors that they will lose much as they have no TU rights for the last 44+ years though no steps were taken to retrieve them by passive agitations all these decades like what happened at RBI having TU rights. Now every retiree and a future one had surrendered before SC which is not bothered about welfare of super seniors of India whether they live or die other than their one in judiciary.
