Beloved Colleagues,
Every member is very much
anxious to see the end of the ordeal of prolonged waiting to achieve the
desired results at the gracious hands of Supreme Court. Bureaucracy is well
versed with techniques, at the cost LIC Exchequer, as to how to defeat and deny
our rightful demands. It is also pathetic to learn that FM / GOI, the supposed
to be the benevolent and safeguarding Highest Institutions, prefer to take
sides against the welfare of the Senior Citizens and Retirees. It is quite
unreasonable to show discrimination between Central Govt Pensioners and the
Pensioners of PSUs. Are they not acting against their own baby of "Govt
Litigation Policies”? It is a pity that we have to fight, with what little money
we have, against the onslaught of powers that be and that too through legal
procedures at the fag end of our life.
We are aware that we have secured a clear cut judgment from
Jaipur HC some five years back. We were under the impression that Management
would give due respect to the Judgment. But, alas, they have chosen a different
stringent path to punish their own erst while employees for the sin of their
choosing legal course. They do not find shy of spending public fund to satisfy
their own unlawful egos. It is horrible that they continue in their master
tirade seldom giving credence to the warnings of Highest Judicial Forums.
For us there is no other alternative but to still depend
upon Judicial Systems to get the awarded Judgments implemented in full. AIRIEF
is determined to reap the hard earned benefits unmindful of any cost and energy
involved in the struggle. The need of this hour is our UNITY and the unstinted
support to our ALL INDIA ORGANIZATION. Let us not get frustrated at these
temporary hurdles. AIRIEF will certainly come out with colourful results
shortly.
Let us believe that our cases will be taken up for final
hearing on 25th instant and Justice rendered without any ambiguity thereafter.
