Net Neutrality

Internet in India should be open and equal for all. Tell the government and the telecom companies that we demand Net Neutrality because internet is a basic need and not a luxury. Sign the petition Dear Ram, The internet is in danger and only YOU can save it!  Mobile operators like Vodafone, Airtel, Idea are trying to pressurise the Indian Government to regulate the internet. This means that - 1. You can be charged separately for using WhatsApp, Skype etc. even if you have paid for the internet data pack.  2. Mobile operators will also be able to regulate the speed of internet sites, which means we may be forced to use the sites that they choose for us. Ram, this is really scary! But we now have an opportunity to stop this and demand Net Neutrality. 1.65 lakh people have already taken a stand. Sign my petition.  In just a few days, the Telecom Regulatory Authority (TRAI) is going to decide if India should have open and equal access to internet.  When you sign this petition, an email will be sent through the petition to TRAI informing them that we want net neutrality.  Let’s show the government and the companies that internet is a basic need and not a luxury. Sign my petition and join in the fight to save the internet.
