Plesae read below

A guru was teaching Vishnu Sahasra naamam to a group of young boys. Guru chanted the slokam :

Sri Raama Raama Raamethi Rame Raame Manorame |
Sahasra naama Tathulyam Raama Naama Varaanane ||

Then he told the boys:  "if you chant Raama naamam  3 times, it is equivalent to chanting the whole Vishnu Sahasranaamam or chanting Lord's Naamam 1000 times.
One of the boys could not agree with the teacher.  He questioned the teacher "Guro, how can 3 times=1000 times? I do not get the logic. How 3 naamams =1000 naamams? The smart Guru, a great devotee of Lord Raama spontaneously explained: Lord Shiva says that the name of Lord Rama is the sweetest of all the words & chanting this name would be equivalent to chanting the whole Vishnu Sahasranama or thousand names of Vishnu.
Here is the interesting calculation to prove that 3 times chanting of Rama naamam = 1000 times chanting or chanting the whole Vishnu Sahasranaamam.
Take the name Rama. It has two Sanskrit letters RA& MA
RA (2nd consonant in Sanskrit : ya, RA, la, va, sa and sha)
MA(5th consonant in Pa, Pha, Ba, Bha, MA).
Substitute the value of RA & MA as 2 & 5 to make RAMA : 2 X 5= 10. So  Rama Rama Rama = in nos: 2x5 x 2x5 x 2x5 = 10x10x10 = 1000.  Three times chanting Rama naamam is equivalent to chanting it 1000 times.
The boy was happy with the answer and started learning Vishun Sahasra naamam with full concentration and devotion. Let us spread this to many friends
for their information and chanting Rama Namam at least (1000) times both morning and evening atleast. Jai Shri Ram!

THE FINANCE MINISTER FACES FINANCIALCRUNCHES LIKE FURTHER CAPITALISING
OF  OUR NATIONALISED BANKS TO COMPLY WITH WORLD BANK AND IMF NORMS ,
LIC COMES IN HANDY LIKE A MILCHY COW TO MILK.IT IS A PITY THAT THE FM
FOGETS ABOUT THE SERVICES OF THE COW KEEPERS(LIC EMPLOYEES) WHO TOOK
CARE OF THE COWS TO YIELD NUTRICIOUS MILK( FINANCE)TO FEED THE NATION
IN ITS FINANCIAL NEEDS.

                  THAT THE GOI IS BEHAVING IN AN UNGRATEFUL MANNER IS
BEYOND DOUBT! THAT REALISATION WILL COME NOW OR LATER IF IT IS
REPRIMANDED BY A COMPETENT COURT!!

17) Service under Mediclaim Family Floater Policy 2015-16:Some positive developments

  1)Yesterday,I had a talk with  RMOS ,SZO on some pending matters of pensioners & mainly requesting him to expedite with CO all modalities of new Cashless Service  covering all illnesses & diseases for Employees & Pensioners.

RM informed me that CO  team was here & they are serious of concluding all formalities with TPA who will really bear the brunt as also shoulder properly, without hassles, implementation of the new Cashless service .When I asked about including Optional SA in ecard of TPA ,RM said it is not so, they don't want, any cost or fee ,for knowing OSA , hospitals to hike rates etc.But procedures are finalized & have to bear fruit sooner.CO will issue circular after full assessment of all TPAs ,All India as announced in CO Cicular dt 31/3/2015

2)Today  I whetted the above with further talks with SZO Mediclaim AO,The following useful points emerged,indicating some forward movement .We can be alert & pursue further as it seems the ball is set rolling & desire of LIC  & TPA to really make cashless service  implemented at the earliest in a fruitful manner

i)TPA has visited some SZ LIC Divisions & the rest also, they will do sooner ,discussing modalities with SDM etc

ii)Format of card may be same,No SA will be shown,to avoid tendency of hike in rates/cost etc. No photo will be there in the card

iii)Id Card of LIC with Photo will have to be shown compulsorily

iv)LIC supplies all data including OSA opted, to TPA for updation in their Records,which shall be the most important & crucial factor for employees,dependants, pensioners etc so that later there should not be difficulty for anybody ,once the process is completed foolproof.It seems TPA adopts this practice for others too & for LIC also same procedure

v)LIC CO Circular shall be issued with all details,List of Hospitals for cashless service,premium rates,Policy conditions & benefits for 2015-16,procedures etc

vi)All of us must  better keep ready,LIC  Pension Cell disbursing office Letter ,after receiving our Family Particulars Form, showing OSA covered & persons insured,apart from LIC Id card with Photo

18) Shri Kishore  Thanx for the efforts you have taken in expediting the cashless facility.You have been very proactive and down to earth practical despite not keeping good health due to aging.SZ has already issued the identity cards with the photo and so one major hurdle is crossed.Pensioners should keep their ID card safely.

20) Friends,  Sri Chanchal Chakrabarty and myself made query in LIC Pensioners' CHRONICLE and Sri RK Sahni's blog in the matter of Sum Insured limit under cashless.The query was raised after it was learnt that one LIC official in one metro division in Kolkata metro intimated one insured that cashless was limited to basic sum insured only and not up to optional increased sum.
Sri RB Kishore contacted CO immediately and he has been informed of the limit as one insured's Sum.
Sri Rk sahni, also, contacted the TPA for Northern Zone in the matter. The concerned TPA has confirmed that one individual's opted sum is the limit.
I express my sincere and respectful gratitude to Sri RB Kishore and Sri RK Sahni for their prompt action in the matter. Also, I am thankful to Sri PG GANGADHARAN for uploading the query.

21)Dear ALL,1)I was trying & trying our SZ TPA,phone was ringing, nobody was picking up.

2)I contacted Secretary (P/ER),CO   & when I posed this query of SA limits under Cashless facility,she was clear & categorical that it is for the Optional SA chosen by Employee or Pensioner.

3)On my pursuing other pending matters & procedures for Cashless, she told me CO circular will take some more time.

She added,when I told her there must not be any trouble or travail for employee or pensioner, she told me TPA desk will be there in Hospital,the Estimates for treatment shall be quickly examined by the Panel of Doctors & then, depending on Optional SA chosen, TPA gives green signal for cashless facility admission

4)As was told by me earlier, LIC supplies pucca data to  TPA which is being keyed in & that process is on

5)Let us pray all procedures & practices are made foolproof & LIC Circular also comes without much delay.

1. The limit on room rent as well as the proportionate reduction in expenses  seems to be harsh particularly in respect of admission in A class cities and in Hospitals like Fortis,Medanta Max etc Multispeciality hospitals.

2   There is reduction in premium rates at all stages.
